Unity 2d tilemap pathfinding

Nov 17, 2018 · I think we need Pathfinding in all kinds of tilemap top down 2d games, so that NPC can walk around TilemapColliders2D, or Player can follow mouse click avoiding obstacles. Also it would be great to use NamMeshModifier on Tilemap, like Jump area or areas with difficult terrain, I haven't used it in 2D, but I could have sworn the made vertical navmeshes a thing in a relatively text version of Unity specifically do that you could more easily use them in 2D games, but most of the comments in this thread are about alternatives to navmeshes.
